Tips
-Creating and maintaining a weekly maintenance schedule is key to keeping your cart in great condition!
-Keep the cart clean. Dust, dirt, and debris can have a negative effect on the carts performance and overall life span. Keep the undercarriage and battery compartment clean of any debris.
-Keeping the batteries clean on the outside is also an important issue. Mix up a baking soda & water solution and clean off the outside of the batteries (making sure not to get any of the solution down into the batteries).
-Keep the battery post connections tight and free of corrosion.
-The electrolyte water levels in your batteries is vital to getting the maximum use from them. Batteries should be checked weekly and the electrolyte level should be 1/8" above the leaded plates. If the electrolyte level is low, the batteries can be filled with distilled water as needed. Make sure not to overfill the batteries as this can cause overflow and damage to the cart.
-Quarterly maintenance should be scheduled with your local E-Z-GO authorized dealer to check the mechanical components of the cart.
